As some long time players recall I generally host a once a year PvP Tournament, well here it is! Date: October 21, 2017 Time: 1pm PST *Please log in and ask for summon 15 minutes early* *GRAND PRIZE INCLUDES 100$ ICE-COLD STORE GIFT CARD!* MUST BE AT LEAST 15 SIGN UPS. Prizes awarded to top 3 will include gladiator badges, event tokens, MG, everyone participating will win a consolation prize just for paticipating. Rules: You must sign up on the forum here and the day of the tournament bring a new character with Basic Ice Warden Gear no FTP/TG allowed. All matches will be 1 on 1 with no rematch. Staff reserves the right to remove anyone from the Tournament if we think you're trying to cheat, depending on circumstances further punishment may be considered. Opponents will be chosen at random and no complaints about opponent selection are allowed. No bags allowed other then the ones you start with. Notice: Information subject to change at staffs discretion check back frequently to see if anythings been changed. *Time has been added along with updated gear Requirement*

Yes I understand that you're trying to keep the server up and that Eternian cannot be brought up over night, However I can honestly say people will donate to see Eternian come back up. So again I state if we the people have the skills, the time, and the money to not only keep Ice-Cold afloat but also bring Eternian back....what's the problem? I'm not trying to cause any problems or sit here and fight with you about it, I would just like to genuinely know what the issue is here that's preventing work from being done on Eternian.

It's come to my attention that there are actually a large number of people willing to work on Eternian however they are being ignored and their requests to help left unanswered. So let me spell this out plainly. If people outside of the current staff work on PF/Hyjal are willing to dedicate time, money and resources to get Eternian running will you do it or are you just going to let Eternian gather dust and pray real hard that Hyjal saves you.

Ryan our Eternian Ryan, has kind of gone AWOL with Banelings as far as I've heard, so they really don't have the resources to work on their realms+Eternian, which I completely understand. The thing is while Eternian is under Ice-Cold at the same time is largely independent, Vyn(Ryan) and Banelings along with their chosen staff were handling most everything with out Reaper-Ryan and Jordan really doing much more then occasionally nodding approval. So it's not really that Jordan and the others are shafting anyone, you have to realize that duplicating everyone's custom gear from Eternian would be a long and kind of pain in the ass task. Now to my understanding(Rick or someone please correct me if I'm wrong) I heard that you can reclaim VIP set purchases from Eternian on PF, never personally looked into it as I already had a VIP 7 on reaper with a different account which is besides the point. Bottom line is Jordan and the PF/Reaper staff are not shafting anyone, now I'm not going to say Vyn/Ryan and Banelings are or aren't shafting anyone I don't know what their situation is or if they ever plan on making an appearance. So the future of Eternian...well you guys saw them lay it out Eternian is still there they just need time, people, and resources to get it updated so its playable. I'm not saying throw them all your hard earned money in hopes of Eternian coming back...but maybe just give a little bit of faith and see if maybe Eternian does come back?

Ok I understand all your resources are currently being focused on PF Reaper....but what I kinda feel some people would like know is what additional resources would you need to get Eternian up and running again? I'm not talking about updates or anything just right now what would it take to get it up and running nothing more.

Unfortunately I have to cater an event for my college this weekend so I will have to postpone the tournament tell monday February 1st.

Runs and such will be discussed with the winner after the event, I can't give any set schedule as it depends on various factors that have to be worked out with the individual receiving the runs.

Back online semi-regular now so setting date of tournament to be Jan. 30th

The idea has merit, it could potentially balance things out a bit more in PvP also, instead of all melee and hunters going for crit gems you would be forced to use run speed gems or watch casters run circles around you.

Changed Beginner Tier from assorted gear to starter gear only.

So its time for my annual PvP tournament. There will be 2 divisions Expert and Beginner. Expert division restricted to full arc gear and Ice Warden X Beginner is for strictly starter gear. (Be advised TG and FTP will be allowed, Reskinned custom items that were non VIP will be allowed on a case by case basis as judged by me and staff.) Matches will be 1 on 1 with pairings based on class/gear with things such as FTP and TG being factored also. I plan on using the nagrand arena for this event, may or may not request buffs to be added haven't decided. People wanting to participate will need to sign up in this thread with your character name and division. Now for the part you all really want to read about, the rewards. Top 3 of each division will receive 3 arc runs 25 CP eggs 1 million Magic Gold. Over all winners of each division will split the pot, as well as receive 5 arc runs and 10 runs through any ice warden dungeon, as well as 250 CP eggs and 20 million Magic Gold(This might be awarded at a later date) After the main tournament is over there will be a special Free For All Event, This will be open to anyone but still non VIP gear only, The last one standing will receive a mystery prize. (I guarantee you'll like it) P.S. Runs can also be done on reaper if the winner prefers, so people from reaper should feel free to come join also! Date is TBA currently as I gotta figure stuff out with sean.
