agittunc Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 why are there no events? i haven't seen a event since ventus(diego) hosted a event. and thats weeks ago.alot of GM's are to inactive and it needs to change. and that includes events! sure say it's a useless topic, i just want GM's to be alot more active and host more events. JapToraJatt, MusorlandRu, lordsiva1 and 1 other 4
counterwow21 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 This is why they opened the GM applications. They're hiring more GMs to fill in the vacant slots. Tuff 1
agittunc Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 2 new gm's isn't solving alot. and since 11 aug still no new gm;s
Tuff Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Two GM's CAN Solve alot Btw. Because for the most stuff which entertains the community you dont need more then 1 GM.
counterwow21 Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 2 new gm's isn't solving alot. and since 11 aug still no new gm;s No GMs have even been hired yet. You can't say what will happen when you've yet to experience it. Just be patient, more GMs will be hired, more things will start happening once they're hired.

JuneG4 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 The more coherent problem I think is more to do with the variety of events, not the amount of GMs there are. The reason I say that is that when I was a GM, the events on WoW became repetitive, for the players and also for the Game Master. Sure hiring 'new blood' will solve the issue for the amount of events momentarily. The more reasonable option would be to look into more interesting event ideas and progress like that. It will make the GMs more interested in hosting and may encourage more players joining the server and the actual event.

That's true but at the time being Icecold doesn't have anyone doing events at all.
mavrathion Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Most of this inactivity is due to schooling. For example several of us are quite busy in University, but just because you don't see us doesn't mean no one is ever on.
