How about Site Titles? I mean, ours is an active community, so we might as well be given the choice to add a special title next to our names of even create a 2d avatar of some short. That, of course, costing vote points.

thats a good one :) but that would require more stuff to buy with vp like crit gems for example (just sayin - 40 points each seems fair ).... I dont know why no one has brought this idea up until now

What you COULD do though is remove the restrictions concerning name choice. Say for example i want to name my char Awesomepallyohmygodxoxoxo, I cant because its too long. Or, if you cant do that, at least allow us to use commas, apostrophes, question marks, exclamation marks etc. Oh,and allow us to use Space so that we can create our own (short) titles (The Awesomepallyohmygodxoxoxo!!)

well, i think that what would really help the server is setting a 1$ fee for every time someone posts on the ''suggestions' wall about offsets :D. No offense, but its getting old now...

Hey so i was thinking how all the big badass humanold bosses are all so much bigger than the players (like twice their size!), so i was thinking, maybe you could add a feature that would allow the player to alter the size of his avatar within reasonable limits? Ahem, weird*, sorry about that :P foreigner here!

Although i am not entirely sure about what youre trying to say, here's my opinion on what should be done in terms of class changes: ok well what i thought of the other day is that (id bet my nipples somebody has brought this up b4 but what the heck) the admins could start by buffing up the PETS. Yes, hunters would get all the fun for a while but you can nerf them :) this way other classes like locks (god, one of the most fun classes to play, unholy dks and frost mages too) will be playable again. Now the thing with druids is that they actual deal more damage when not in animal form due to ultimate haste! Cat form is still useful, but is nothing compared to the buffed weapons we are using! So i personally think that there is not much we can do for druids, but perhaps hunters, locks, dks and mages can benefit from these changes the most. Thanks for bringing this up

well be sure to vote in the poll ive made. look it up under 'suggestions' forum. Maybe if we gather enough votes, we'll convince the admins to hire some scripters?

Just in case ur facing the same ridiculous problem i was facing a year back, when instead of inserting my server Username (Vordnox) where it asked for my email address, i inserted my email, which i have been using on retail, so i got an announcement that i needed to download the latest patch.

Yeah he's right. May i point out that, although there is a specific gear set for each class that no other classes can use, there are identical in appearance (not stats) items that drop from the raid bosses. For example, for death knights there is the helm of maddening whispers that drops from Chogall (i think its chogall) in Bastion of Twilight, but there is also Magma Plated Helm which looks exactly the same but is only accessible to death knights. The Helm of the Maddening whispers could also be used by a warrior as a tanking helm while still looking exactly the same as the Magma Plated Helm. This is true about ALL the gear sets (all tiers, all expansions) but the raids that include the bosses are not scripted. So i think you can start from that, and maybe create vendors that will sell the player the items purchasable with GOLD ( shall we say, 50k a piece? i think its fair, and it would also restore the gold system in game). So you can apply that to all raid gear sets from all the expansions. Also, i have noticed that the pvp gear sets from all four expansions are not obtainable (their vendors are not scripted - in retail, they were all gather in dalaran, now there is none) and that is a real shame cause they look awesome. Those ones you could sell with honor or GOLD and little honor. Thats what i prupose. Also, you should create a vendor selling the gear sets VIP 1-6 use (cause 7 is already sold by LK).

Well its not supposed to be easy otherwise everyone would do it. The thing is, these folks running the server are paid to do just that :)

well now that Jordan posted on my topic it is more clear to me that scripting raids is a long and difficult process. So this seems as a more down to earth approach sorry.

Well, this is the point where the server i think should gather donations to hire a pro (for a short time maybe?). I mean, to gather funds specifically for that purpose you could add a quest item on the store (say about 10$ or 15$) that when bought and activated would lead us to an NPC that would reward us with a title (you can use one of the already existing ones, or several different ones even) I know the server is free and all but since christmans VIP sales are almost here, i think its an excellent oportunity. What i just proposed might be completely wrong but its just an idea. Icecold is ranked 10% in most rating sites. For a server that has no instance scripter, you guys have done an amazing job and your ideas are very original. But you should consider hiring one if no one is ever applying. Otherwise what?

So here is the poll i promised... i will be uploading some more info on the raids soon Apart from the RAP project (rebuild azeroth project), I thought about Restoring Currency Point System (RECUPS). The vendors that sell the tier sets, apart from the ones in Shattrath city, are not working because there are no currency points ingame to trade! Whats more, the raids were you obtain the necessary items to trade with the vendors are also not scripted. Am I the only one who has noticed this? Also, BUB (Buff up them Bosses!) prject should aim on increasing the difficulty level of the classic raids, so that we may form groups once again!

Well, advertising is good for the server as long as the admins get paid to host the adds. Otherwise its just annoying, you're right.

a poll it is then - in a couple of days (4 at max) i will have it ready, but it will be 'official' - nobody would want people start posting polls about different raids each - that would be chaos. I will take my time and create a proper one, and maybe add to it later on.
