Bug abusing has been rampant in this zone lately and despite bans, people continue to bug abuse there. Be mindful we are watching the area and if you are caught bugging these mobs you will be banned. Since players didn't seem to be deterred from bans before, the new punishment will be one warning ban then a permanent ban. Your first offense will be 7days, if caught again, perma. This zone is not that difficult and was designed to require a group to complete it. So many people choose to cheat which takes away from the content of the game we create and is unfair for those who follow the rules. To be clear, anyone in a group that is bug abusing will receive a ban. If you see players cheating, report them. If you have any questions or unclear about anything, ask below. Rule 1. Any cheats, hacking, duping and exploits are strictly forbidden. Bug abusing for self-benefit is considering an exploit. If caught, you will receive a permanent ban. If you find a bug, report it to a GM/Admin by making a ticket or emailing it to the admin with enough information about it. You can also report bugs by admin ticket or using the forums.

There is a problem with their "Capcha" server not authenticating correctly and therefore it doesn't count the vote as valid. I know, it does it to me all the time. The way you can confirm this is when you don't get credit for voting for them, go back and click "submit vote" without entering the capcha. If it goes straight to the list, the capcha isn't working at that time. There is nothing we can do to fix it on our end. Perhaps someday we can find a suitable replacement for Openwow.

From now on the Faction Change feature has been disabled for VIP accounts. This is due to players taking advantage of exploits in game. The easiest solution was to simply disable the feature to fix the problem.

It would also be abused. Someone would attack and then turn off their pvp so the person they just killed wouldn't be able attack back. You could put a long cool down on it like when you are flagged for pvp, but then what's the point of having it?

It all boils down to good help being hard to find. As many of you recognize, finding a good and responsible person to take on the roll of GM is often hard to do. Also the greater pool of GM's and applicants are from the states or Canada. So there is less people on at night because of that. Of the 5 current GMs 3 of us have Jobs, the other two are in school and all of us have lives as well that we also have to manage with time. In the grand scheme of things, problems in-game are often trivial and not important enough to neglect our families and other responsibilities in life all the time. I would venture to guess that 99% of the problems that are reported to GMs could be resolved by themselves because the involve some sort of in-game conflict with another player. This includes trolling, account sharing, and of course disrespect amongst many others. But it seems most can't handle this and want a GM's help. That's ok, that's what we are here for most of the time. If people could follow the rules, the problems would be a lot less.. Perhaps when more content and more stuff to do for players is added, it will give them something better to do then harass each other.

I will punish him since the evidence shows enough and I am sure he was guilty and kept breaking the rule anyways. For future reference you must follow the report format. It is posted at the top of the report player/GM section if you forget.

Its a bug abuse if they don't have their defender with them, but you can clearly see his defender present next to him. It appears to me everything was the way its supposed to be.

Not much to go on here but try this first. Go to your game panel and change your expansion to cataclysm.

The custom weapon maker was disabled quite a while ago because of problems it was causing. If it is ever brought back, there will announcements about its return.

So let me get this straight. You report a player that you willingly gave money to with zero evidence and without using the proper format. And I suppose you want icecold to punish this player because they didn't give you money back for stuff you both did outside of icecold. Never going to happen. Closed

I have heard many players complain that voting is too hard or they are too lazy. Voting not only benefits the server by helping Icecold advertise, it also provides good rewards. And like many things in life, the more you do it, the easier it gets. I currently have 1200 votes, enough to buy six (6) frostmourne of the best type weapons. That is $180 equivalent to the same donor weapons which cost $30 apiece. I have voted somewhere over 5000 votes in my two years on Icecold which equates to around $750 in donor items. I encourage everyone to vote, to help Icecold and help yourself get some good stuff!
