I don't know how I missed this report but I did. He is currently banned for the other report so all this goes towards his first warning. Next time its a perma ban.

Taken care of. Mark, the first rule on this server is about bug abusing. If you encounter a bug you are supposed to report it, not take advantage of it. That's why people get punished. You are a veteran of the server, you know this.

Lobo, you are wasting everyone's time with this. I checked the logs and you were talking some smack and this guy gave it back. I would warn him about language but in the same conversation you were using curse words as well. Bottom line, looks like you were just trying to get someone in trouble for whatever reason. Yes, the quest are bugged and there is no easy way to fix that whole place. The easiest thing to do if you are trying to get mounts is list the mounts and we will see about adding them to the vendor.

Its not reportable. If you try to run away while being attacked in the arena its not abuse. Also, though he may have changed names, Proxes is horde and you are alliance as I just looked it up so that would explain it also.

Because all I can do is perma ban accounts and IPs. People change their IP and make an new account. Nothing I can do about it except keep banning what I can.

This happens if you are attacking someone while they run out of the arena. Its a known bug and not a players fault, which is what it looks like what happened here.

Ok, I was talking with a staffer from Eternian and it sounds like this can persist normally after the ancient guardian is gone. I am going to issue a warning and see if we can't fix this problem. Either way its difficult to tell in the pictures if he is abusing or it was right after he used AG.

You have to be a minimum of 230 mining skill to complete the quest according to WoWhead.

We made a non-vip arena (Blades Edge) for players to go where no high level gear can be worn. Nobody goes there. I understand the desire to all want to be in the same place, but if the camping is so bad, why not try the non-vip arena.

The idea has come up before and though it sounds good in theory, it just doesn't make sense for our server. If we are going to have more staff, they might as well go through the whole process and be full GMs because they are fully accountable for their actions and command more respect for their position. What I mean is, if we have moderators and they started enforcing the rules that they can, then players will likely start claiming they were abused by the moderator or they were abusing their power. In the meantime, the GMs would have to go back and investigate what actually happened to make sure no abuse was going on. It would create more work for GMs and possibly more liability for the Admins in regards to server rule enforcement. So that is why it makes more sense to me, to make a GM over some moderator position with limited powers. I will pass this along to the other staff to read and consider, but I highly doubt you will ever see a moderator position any time soon. I also believe that there will always be gaps in GM coverage no matter what so this thing is going to happen. Right now the server may have player spikes during times when its normally lower because all the kids are out of school for summer.
