    I wouldnt say its a "bad" idea but, if new players were to find out about this (if were able to be done in game) then they would be able to just farm all their non vip with the rented gear, then when the rented gear is gone they will still have their full non vip set to wear. Honestly I don't think this should happen.

    I would suggest putting in a quest for new players (after they finished the starter area of course) that tells them to go to the starter gear vendor and then tells them were and how to get to the areas for the Upgrade able gear (such as demonic), so they can just hop in and start gear grindin :D
