To start off, the creation of this topic is by no means to stir up drama, it's to note some wrongdoings and wrap everything else up. I just ask if you're going to reply something bad, keep it to yourself please. Back a couple months ago I decided to revisit this server after a considerable amount of time of not playing for no relevant reason. My first feed post was eventually greeted to something I didn't appreciate that much, and it did nothing but add onto the heap of crap that followed. To sum it up real quick, my first couple days of gameplay I saw people randomly approached and insulted, then I was inevitably targeted and insulted randomly as well. I whispered the guy and told him to leave me alone and immaturely and prematurely threatened to report him. Said player ended up going to an extent of running to my alt account's character and insulting him too, so I was by all means angry, and decided to make a d/r report on the forums. I haven't even been able to look at that report topic since my last post, out of sheer embarrassment, shame, and my fear of quarreling with other community members because it. Other topics followed saying things like "people that take small insults that serious should just leave", and similar. With all my heart, this wasn't the way I wanted to end my existence with this community whether you care about me or not. I've had time to think about it, I've noted my absurdity for future bearings, and would just like to thank Ryan personally, along with any friends I had when I played on this server at different times, it's been a blast. Thank you thank you thank you! I hope this is better for me, ^_^ .

And that's not enough to justify this guy doing what he did. I told him to stop, I obviously didn't want to engage in anything at the time, and he should have stopped... I can't see that conversation turning into "friendly combat" at all.

Wow, absolutely done. You're just going to let a guy go around and "smack talk" anybody he pleases. My alt was still in starter gear, if you're seriously going to attempt and use challenging to PvP as an excuse not to suspend this guy, that's pathetic plain and simple. Truly isn't the server I remember.

Only thing I could make out of that is something about a ban, lol.

A quick search of that kernel panic error shows it might be a hardware issue. Have you tried doing the basic stuff like updating your OS software, drivers, etc? I also have no experience with Macs, but if you can copy and paste the WoW Error into here, it would really help.

I have no knowledge over this situation so I'm just sending my courtesies to you over this. Wish you the best, mate. One less player in the community strong, I suppose...

On my retail WoW, I have the resolution set to the same as shown here, but the size of the HUD is smaller, and more clear. And I plan to stay for a bit, and I'm thinking about trying the new 3.3.5a server, is it any fun? I'll probably also play a little Cata, too, but this Blizzlike server looks pretty fun.

I'll have to disagree on this one. --------------------------------------------------------- Player A is a Warrior. Player B is a Paladin. Paladin gets voted best class and gets a year buff. Player B becomes more OP. All players switch to Paladin and there's nothing but Paladins on the server, now.

First and foremost, disable all addons that you may have enabled. Some addons are known to lag the game, and crash it. Also, if gameplay is choppy, it's most likely your CPU overheating, or technical specifications in your computer not being good enough to run World of Warcraft on all or high settings. If you're web browser is not experiencing any slow problems, then it is not your internet connection. If your web browser/anything else that uses internet -IS- slow and laggy, then it is your internet connection. If you're wireless, try moving closer to your router, if not close already. If this does not help, consider obtaining an ethernet cord to have a wired connection, which is overall a better experience. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ If it's still slow and you're paying for fast internet, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for help.

Well that rustled my jimmies. But I will keep thinking of suggestions! ;) EDIT: - Make easter eggs! Spawn some in Azeroth and Outland, and make it so you get rewarded if you find any easter eggs first. There's something to do when you're bored. - Maybe make craftable armor that actually benefits you for the time being before you farm ravaged diamonds, or tokens. (Craftable meaning Blacksmith, btw.) - Quest rewards that are not only beneficial statistically, but can morph you into a certain model if you left click it in your inventory. There already is, it's called TrueIce, but you need 3.3.5a for it, you should check it out. Anyway, my idea was something like an arena only for non-vips. If you're VIP, you can't enter it via the teleporter, nor' by flying/riding there. (Have the place barricaded, or something). Getting ganked by a VIP while fighting with another non-vip can be extremely annoying. Also there would be a boss in it, just like the VIP one, but less powerful. It too would drop something beneficial to the non-vips. Sorry if this idea was already thought up and I just didn't know. :D

You didn't need to downgrade for this private server, alizalaki. If you want to play on this server, I'd recommend you uninstall and previous World of Warcraft data from your computer, (except for retail, if you still want to play MoP), then do the steps I mentioned above. Downgrading then using our launcher won't help.

Make new folder, download this file, http://www.icecold-wow.com/icedownloads/IceColdLauncher.exe Put it in the new folder, (new folder can't be in retail WoW directory), run the launcher, ignore the errors, and press, "Reinstall Game", at the bottom of the launcher.
