account sharing does not receive support. there has been so many warnings about scamming that if a player gets scammed, its because they did something they knew could be a possible scam. Like giving out your user name and password to share.

First off I am sure you know that sniping is no longer reportable in the forums, a GM has to witness it. I am guessing this is another useless post to increase your post count. Second, Sniping is when you are in the arena and a player is shooting you from outside the arena. You are also out of the arena so it is not sniping.

It seems he was talking about the past when he got a VIP account. He was punished for it already and it is over. Unless, you have evidence that he is trying to hack or scam another account, there is nothing to do.

Ok I have done some investigating and here's what I found. First, and most important is any boss wont reset (lose tag) unless he goes back to his spawn point after losing agro from all attackers. The pic shows active combat right after you died and pythios down on health. Other players also backup Holydk's story that even though he killed you, it wasn't to steal tag and he never got it. There is no proof that Holydk did anything but kill you and that is not against the rules.

First. I reviewed the chat logs on both sides. Other than a bit of trolling by Wraithy saying there was VIP 7 in the chest, there was no spamming and no d/r apperant on his side. Its not against the rules to kill each other in the arena, that is what its for. The anti-camp system would take care of anything wrong with that. You, on the other hand went off the deep end and got angry at Wraithy. What you said to him in whisper was too much. Then, you made a rage ticket with a bunch of swearing and complaints about the server and players in general. I lumped the GM d/r into the ban because of the ticket and what you said it in. It seemed to me that you were angry at the GMs even though initially we had not even had a chance to respond to the situation between you two. Unfortunately, you let your anger get the best of you and continue to do so. Overall, I only banned you for one day for all of the stuff you have done. Severe player d/r, rage tickets in game and website, and now some angry ban appeals/reports. I think its best you learn from this and move on. Next time, don't try to take the situation in your own hands, if you have a problem with another player, make a ticket or move on somewhere else. Thanks.

Not against the rules to multi-box and sharing accounts is strongly frowned upon, but not technically against the rules.

Honor farming is an exploit and can be against the rules for that reason. Its true that killing opposite factions on different accounts from the same IP (dual-boxing) does not reward honor. However, its possible to complete daily/weekly quests to farm those for honor. We need proof of them doing it before action can be taken. They need to be reported in the "report player/GM" section with the proper format.

I replied to you PM but you left out the detail about "empty folder". You need to have the game in the folder re-download it. The way I did that was to go to blizzard's website and begin downloading the game from their site. When it started their launcher, I closed it and put Icecold launcher in the folder and started it. Then you can use the Icecold launcher to start the cata-patch.

True, those pics don't prove anything. Also, if you got killed in the vote shop, the pvp guard would take care of the attack. If it didn't that would mean that you would have to move out of its reach into an area where pvp is allowed. Case closed.

No matter what happened between you two, it was outside of Icecold so I am going to close this thread.

There have been a lot of reports and tickets lately of players being hacked and scammed out of their accounts or items. This is an upsetting event for any player who gets scammed and it is also hard to prove and impossible recover lost items and accounts. Things you need to know and look out for: 1. Sharing your account, selling or trading characters outside of Icecold is not supported and will often result in you getting scammed. Please remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Many of the scams offer to trade for something better than what you have only to never deliver what they promise. If anyone ask for you account info, it's a scam. Once you lose your account or items to a scammer, there is nothing we can do to recover it 2. If you decide to trade with someone outside of Icecold, you do so at your own risk. Transactions outside of our system will not be supported. 3. Help us find potential scammers by reporting attempts to scam. If someone attempts to scam you or you witness it, take screen shots and report the player on the forums. That allows us to find and punish scammers. Do not try and follow through any part of the scam, just report it. If you are ever in doubt, just back out. You can always make an in game ticket if you think you are getting scammed and not sure.

You are not banned in game. You probably banned yourself by entering you email address instead of you username. when you log into the icecold server, you use the same username as the website username and password.

Use your email to recover it if you truly got hacked. I must ask, did you share your account?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Just because you posted your trade here does not mean you will receive support if you get scammed. You must trade at your own risk.

Use proper format and provide proper proof. That only shows that you got hit, but only by seal of righteousness which is an AOE on ret pallies. That is not enough proof that he was killing you.
