You don't like max haste in general? Old Reaper and Eternian was all about max haste, PF is normal.

The new realm doesn't take as much time to launch, it's hard to explain but bringing Eternian back will just take some more time. Thank you for your comment. We really hope this will help us keep IceCold-WoW alive, so we can continue to make it better and that includes bringing Eternian back. Good! :D

The content of this realm is based off Reaper (Project Fire). Differences? - Max haste (makes dungeons easier to clear). 3 stages of haste, once you log into the world, you have stage 1 (fast). Once you complete the starter quest line you receive stage 2 (faster). Killing the last boss in the first dungeon, you will receive stage 3 (Too fast). - Profession vendor (shortcuts to level your professions). - VIP gear has higher stats. Content available at launch? Starter quest line. 5 Dungeons, custom scripted mobs/bosses. A mall full of vendors. Daily quests. Working battlegrounds/Arenas. 3 world bosses. When is launch? Keep checking the website, very soon. Within the first week after launch, GMs will be hired.

Bringing Eternian back first isn't an option, doesn't matter who wants to help. It would take so much time, we have less than a month due to server bills. Eternian would probably take months & months to bring back.

Hello all, We are truly sorry for the recent silence by us. This post may very well be one of our last. In this post, we’re going to explain everything. Are we shutting down? Not yet, we have until the end of January to try and keep IceCold-WoW alive, but that is it. What’s going to happen now? In the next few days, we are going to launch a separate realm called ‘Ice-Hyjal’ based on Reaper content. This separate realm is going to be our ‘fun realm’, bringing back max haste, fun PvP, etc. Also, class balance is less of a worry due to max haste. Can I reclaim my gear on this realm? No, this realm is brand new. However, if you have purchased one of the high-tier sets on the new Reaper realm, there will be a service on the store which will allow you to pay to transfer over your gear to the new realm. So this new realm is going to be the same as old Reaper? Yes and no. It will have max haste, but the content is new, no more boring dungeons with mobs standing still that do nothing, and you had to run around for hours killing. Bosses/mobs in our new dungeons are custom scripted the same as Reaper, so at times it will be a challenge even with max haste. Also, our new world bosses will still be fun. IceCold-WoW was launched with the idea of being a fun server, so Ice-Hyjal will bring back those days for those who miss it, and with your help, we can all create a fun realm. How can we keep this server alive? We are hoping ‘Ice-Hyjal’ will keep our server alive. Of course, player’s donations are what we need to keep everything up. This is no temporary realm, it will be treated as a permanent realm just like the new Reaper. A normal realm, and a fun one, something for everyone. Is Project Fire (New Ice-Reaper) closing? No, Ice-Hyjal will hopefully give us time to continue our work on Reaper, make it better, and hopefully one day players will see just how good this realm can be. What happened to Ice-Eternian? Sorry that we never clarified why it was shut down. It's because of the login system change. You log in with your email now, and it's using a completely different newer account system to handle that. That newer account system is not supported on the 4.0.6 software, only the newer 4.3 software. Therefore, for Eternian to work at all on IceCold, upgrading it to 4.3 is necessary. That takes much time and resources, which are focused elsewhere right now. That said, we have not deleted the realm, and restoring it is on the future roadmap. So, this is it, our last chance to keep IceCold-WoW alive. We’ll try our best but we need your help too. Thanks for everyone that keeps checking back with us, it means a lot. If we can keep Ice open, in May this server has been around for 6 years. How time flies.

I have posted in older topics about this situation. Right now everything is being focused on our new realm Reaper. There is no dates set for Eternian to come back online. That doesnt mean it never will, but it won't come back until our other realm is sorted.

Currently everything is just being fixed, once we have much more content out, we will re-launch again.

We launched far too early, yes i know people complain how long it took us, doesn't matter anymore. We still launched too quick because server bills had to be paid. We have the servers for a couple more months, now all we care about is fixing classes and releasing the rest of our content before trying to release again even though its online.

We never said Eternian won't come back. There is simply no time to work on Eternian at the moment. We must first fix Reaper and release all its content it's supposed to have.

When we did this before, people donated to help meet our target, those people are going to receieve a bonus for that don't worry and so will people who donate now. A few choices will be made out and the players can pick what they would like the most.

We know it took us way too long to release it, we know that very well. The servers we run everything on costs a lot. You can now reclaim your gear on Reaper (PF).

To everyone asking about the Eternian realm, here is the simple answer from us. We don't know yet, for now we are only concentrating on Reaper, if we were to try and open Eternian again, it will take a lot of work. I'm not saying it's gone forever, we just need to get more stuff sorted on Reaper and then we'll see.
