I say yes for removing the buffs on the edge of the arena. Also remove the zerk near the start point and move the speed buffs closer to the teleport location. Gives people a slightly easier time of getting to the arena without getting them close enough that the buff lasts till inside the arena. It gets annoying when people just run up there for the Zerks and speed buff because they hit a lot harder and are moving faster allowing for a lot more maneuvering to go on, increasing your chances of a kill. Also, the "it gives me a chance against higher gear" is annoying, because it's like the whole Starter Gear Tourney argument that was going on. The higher geared people farmed it, and you're just giving them a way to not have to farm up to us to beat us.

You do realize it wasn't a pally wide nerf. Only thing changed was Seals of Command. So Prot is unchanged. And Ret is still better for PvE so I think it's perfect the way it is. People who complain about the nerf are just gear carried and can't deal with being at least kind of close to other classes in terms of power.

Human for PvP is by far my favorite. Human trinket gets out of literally anything, from Cyclone to Repentance. For PvE I'd say Orc for the Attack Power increase.

Still, if people /ignore spammers, spammers get sadface, then stop it (sometimes), then if they don't stop they go in world chat, and then they get muted/banned. So it has a way of working itself out, just requires people to not be lazy and start the process. Ryan can add items though, so if this is implemented (which I love events, best part of being a GM on another server I played on), the GMs can just let him know who to give an item too. Also they could always just farm for it, that's what I always did when I gave stuff away. Then again I have an almost endless capacity for farming
