I think you should just call it quits. There's no true-foundation (player base) that's going to keep the place active. Start some thing new, because I can tell you now. This doesn't hold my interest in the slightest anymore.

Just gonna' tell you how it is. They realize how long they're taking - and they realize it won't help. But the fact that they continue to say that "This will bring them all back." "This will be the update to do it!" I really doubt it. This is not speaking ill of IceCold-WoW - But I mean, I came back to re-apply to help out and I think that was like a couple months ago when I received an update on the server via. Skype? Truly - Other servers already do this custom content and put it out a lot faster. Personally I think the server died a long time ago - Cause I remember playing with at least 100+ people at a time.. and now it's what? 8 people at max? I always keep close to this server to see if they'll pull through and keep their word -- Cause I had a lot of awesome memories here. I think the statement / advice I'm gonna leave here is this -- Don't stick around and wait for this, find some thing else to occupy your time; because waiting for this might not even turn up.. But do keep an eye on it every now and then. Just maybe it'll pull through.

Alright so. Here's an issue I see with IceCold-WoW that we didn't have back in the day-- The forums are kind of... Boring : / I could remember getting on every day and reading some amazing tips, great suggestions, having a few laughs, and just enjoying my self as I navigated across it. So this'll be my attempt at getting some regular conversation going-- By posting some of my funny pictures (And if you don't find any of them funny, apologies; feel free to leave the thread :P ) Also. These pictures were either found by me, or made by me. So if you have a question about a specific one-- Do ask! :D I'll be adding more, trust me.

I have a /possible/ solution, but it requires a lot more effort then just "Click, Hit this, Hit Play" type deal. It also /may/ not work.

Just to tell you, an item is not needed for this. Since my absence I've played on a numerous amount of other WoW servers (Ranging from a variety of RP to PVP to Fun-Servers) Now with that being said, commands have been implemented on many RP servers with a !phase command. Basically it does this. !ph create <PhaseName>, then you'd type some thing along the lines of !ph join <PhaseNumber> (You name your phase, and your phase receives a random unique number which people use to join with.) Now, with that being said... Players can build within their own phases, and yes; you can quite literally build some amazing things. It just takes time and practice. Though the thing is, on the RP servers I've seen that have this-- It creates a completely blank world (Besides all the in-game objects like static chairs, buildings, etc.) So the command would have to practically copy the current world and create a duplicate which could be edited to a hearts content-- Now with that being said, It could be abused. If you're to create a dupicate of the 'main' phase, and have NPC's to farm; you practically could farm certain mobs that have respawn timers on the server (Which wouldn't be ok IMO.) So while your idea seemed cool and unique at first, it's not worth the hassle; and it would honestly have to be worked on delicately to function in a way that it wouldn't hurt the server. It's best to leave the phase systems to the 'true' RP WoW servers (Having 4-5 RP vendors doesn't make it an RP server, nor' does it open up to much options to do such)

*Sigh* Nostalgia. This is the word I'd use when looking at this website. Well-- Some of you may know me, some of you may /not/ know me. Regardless of whether you do or not, I used to work on here as Staff along side of good friends such as Tirionl and Kellian. I remember doing events for players such as morphing into Deathwing and acting as a boss, running a side-guild that functioned like an in-game auction house, and guarding the player-based against those who wished to defy the rules of IceCold-WoW. Then there were things I did that I sadly regret, but I've finally reached a point where I have reached a point in maturity where I realize kids make stupid mistakes. So apologizing for the 'boy' that was 'me' back in the day, I'm sorry to Jordan and Ryan for doing what I did (Which needs to elaboration) Now moving on from the soppy-sad stuff! Who am I? I'm Dylan. I live in the U.S. More specifically, North Carolina. I live in whats dub 'The South' (And no, I'm not a redneck. I don't spit tobacco and hunt deer in my back yard) Gaming is an immense passion of mine, and I do it with friends I can enjoy it with; whether they're friends I've known since Elementary school or friends I made who are from South America. I am a friendly, fun, and quite loving guy.
