I've encountered this my first time trying to join the server. So there's Two ways I used to fix this. (Note this worked for me not sure about others and you with this problem.) Way 1. Sometimes it requires 2-3 restarts for it to work properly. Fix: If Way 1 works but takes you to the desktop but WoW is opened and cannot be open (remaining you on the desktop) Restart WoW and keep clicking on your screen and it will not minimize WoW. Way 2. Wait for it load. Yes, it takes a good 1-3 minutes for it properly load and work this means don't minimize it either just leave it as it is. Follow Way 1's fix if it does work but processes the same error. You get the Directx 9c/3d accelerator error the first time on here normally I noticed. However if you minimize WoW and try to end the process you'll be prompted with the same error. (Make sure you don't have anything that minimizes your games in fullscreen.) (Skype ect.)

This, I actually like but its actually kind of hard to do. But all seriousness great suggestions.

Not sure if this a fix for it, but i re-logged back in and then it initialized the game data then the game finally read the patch then I was able to play

Honestly, I don't see the point in player disrespect here. Yes I know others have different feelings and opinions but this isn't a serious matter and Chip was extremely busy at the time so he was getting overworked and mostly overreacted at this situation. Not many GM's are on all day leaving Chip doing admin work and GM duty.

Suggestion Type (Event/General Improvement/Nerf/Buff/Loot/Dungeon etc) : Looting A short description : The idea is AoE looting. It allows us to loot everything in an area by one looting one corpse. Mist of Pandaria has this feature making farming easier by pulling and stacking. How and Who would that Benefit : It would benefit everyone it would make farming/looting easier and take up less time then as needed. Any screenshots/images if needed : N/A

This time it actually was affecting me last night. Must be something with OpenWoW once in awhile.

Its already working for me by default regardless a phone or not werid how people are getting this problem.
