It's not Icecold-wow's fault, It's most likely Openwow, so they can't fix it.

What Loke said. Icecold-wow has no control over when Openwow or any other sites work and actually count the vote point. The sites themselves are the places that the issues derive.

The post is about WoWStatus not working, not Openwow. WoWStatus updated their site on a large scale and are working out some bugs

Oh, derp, guess I should've read it correctly. I assume it's Openwow cause it's mostly that one people make forum topics about. xD

My WOWSTATUS is now redirecting and I get the vote points. Thank you! Now if MMORPG and GTOP would just let me vote that would be great but I doubt they are gonna start working I think they are tied to mondwow domain or something and dont work. I have only been getting 3 vote point at a time for months now.

For the top 2 vote sites, once you have entered the Captcha and submitted your vote, you'll be taken to a list of private servers.

Search for IceCold in the list and click back until you arrive back at the voting section on Icecold.com

The other 3 just require you to submit a vote.

I just tried, all 5 worked just fine for me.

Ok so what The_Flash said to do worked for GTOP and for MMORPG (the top two) you have to click on ICECOLD's ad AFTER you do the catpcha this really should be better explained as ICECOLD WOW is probably losing many votes because of it and players are also losing out.

I'm glad it helped.

There is in fact a guide on how to vote successfully but i guess a lot of people miss out on it.

It's hard to communicate things like this to the brand new players, as they won't search the forums for every guide that could possibly help them out.

Let's just hope most of them will ask once they find out it's not working^^

Alright,

I'm not entirely sure what is causing the problem.

All i know is i'm experiencing the same problem at work while it works perfectly fine at home.

Has nothing to do with the Firewall, i took mine off, didnt change a thing.

you can try compatibility settings on your browser or using another browser. Mainly I think these vote sites suffer from a serious case of FUBAR.

 

right now all of the vote sites work for me a majority of the time.

I'm using chrome at both my work and at home.

It's not the browser in my case.

 

I don't really mind since im able to vote at least once a day when im at home.

But for people that have this issue at home it could become fairly annoying..
