Where else needs direct supervision from staff besides the arena? The world is too big to supervise "other places" for the occasional rule breaking. The recourse for this is the forums which is available to players to report other people doing stuff wrong. It is important that players police themselves otherwise we would have to have a server full of GMs and a couple of players. One thing I think its difficult for players here to understand is the difficulty and logistics it takes to form a working and productive staff on both servers completely over the internet. Parting thought, players need to understand that they cannot come on here for a couple of short months and then they need to be a GM here. Sure some people may have certain qualifications including past GM experience. But people need to learn the icecold community, rules, and establish themselves as a productive member of the game to begin to qualify for being a new GM.

The frostmourne of the beast is an axe that looks like a sword that is available in the vote shop if you are interested in those. The bad part is you have to save up 400 vote points to buy two of them since they are 1h weapons. I am guessing this is about the monsters on Dreamer that hit for 6-8k on low level payers when they are running from them. I had it happen to me as well. Check back now that dreamer has been given a new database to see if its fixed. FWIW I never got hit that hard when I was fighting the monsters, only when running from them.

You can go to "my charachters" on this site and find the one it is that stuck in hyjal, then click "unstick". This will port that toon to Shattrath city where you should be able to log in without problems.

I was playing today and myself and several others were complaining of lag and high latency. Since everyone seems to be having latency problems it is probably a server problem. There is nothing you can do to fix it but just wait until it gets better. These things usually get resolved from the server host rather quickly.

Btw, all but one of the currently active GM's would not be eligible to apply for a GM positions at this time. I checked a couple of days ago when applications first opened up and only one active GM had more then 10 reputation points.

I am afraid the reputation points is going to be a catch 22 for allowing people to apply for GM. The vast majority of people on Icecold forums who contribute here in a meaningful way don't get likes. Before the GM application change, it seemed pointless to like posts as it didn't mean anything and now I think people might hesitate to like post because it will lead to them having competition for GM applications. I am in the same boat as you, I have only recived one like so I am not eligible to apply for GM. But if that is what the admin want, that is cool with me. Btw I gave you a like :thumbsup:

I remember a few months ago the admin did a sweep of the server to clean stuff up. Any charachters that had been inactive (not logged onto) for more then six months then they were deleted. if you are stuck flying you will have to log in and make a ticket so a GM can fix it now. I had that happen too when I got kicked from the server while on a flight path and had to unstick my character. I ended up in shatt with a flightpath to nowhere and only a GM could fix it.

How many vote points and icegold does it take to complete the upgrade, does anyone know?

The "A" word is one that is not extremely offensive, but can be offensive to some. After all, there are kids who can play on the server and either they can be offended or their parents don't want them to be exposed to that kind of language. I think it is respectful of the staff to make sure that stuff doesn't happen. The problem with the chat example is that there is a language filter available for all chats. However, you cannot filter out the name of a person's character so the names need to be kept non-offensive. Seriously, what is the point of having such a questionable name except to offend others and create drama? People should not do it or anything that resembles swearing or vulgar language in their name in my opinion and deserve punishment if they do.

Always from the side and almost always when they were fighting someone else. I told him/her it was against the rules once but I believe it fell on deaf ears.

I like most of the ideas but would change some. I would make world boss loot BOP so people cant farm them and sell them on the AH. I would like to see more non-vip instances. If I was admin for a day I would increase drop rates on the farmable items so it doesn't take a year to get one piece of gear. But I have my theory of why the drop rates are so low.

Everything is working good now for counting votes, but I only got 1 vote point per vote. Is the double vote points event over? it is still advertised on the site.

I think I figured it out. Something went wonky with my anti virus software and its blocking a ton of stuff. I am having problems on facebook too for example. Disabling it allowed me to vote. Thanks again for the help.

It doesn't do anything, I just get a blank page. I have tried resetting everything internet based, nother fixes it. thanks for the help

Something funky has been going on with the vote system with me for the last couple of days, and yes I am voting correctly. On my main computer I was only able to get the first vote site to work (wowstatus.net). I have tried everything on my computer from deleting cookies and history, computer restart, and three different web browsers. Also piror to the problems I would click the banner on each site it would bring me back to the vote page here and now it brings me to the home(index) page. I tried a different computer today and got 4/5 sites to register the vote but MMORPG site does not register. Howerver, it does appear to be coming through to Icecold.

I am having the same problem as you and I cannot fix it. I only get credit for voting for the first site. After that it doesn't matter what I do, I dont get credit. Yes I have entered the captcha code and clicked the banner link on each site. I just noticed this yesterday. I wonder if it is something on their end?

No offense but same thing goes for sence and cents.

You will have to replace duplicate gems with another kind of gem from the same compatible color. Since the gems are unique equip. you have to be careful if you gear swap.

Okay guys, there is no need to reply to any of william's posts anymore. He has been banned on this forum and I am willing to bet on the game server as well. This thread was started on March 17th so I think the issue is over.
