  3. pvp on a pvp realm might ruin the "experience" lol. does everyone realise wow was designed with pvp in mind? This would be why "enemy" players appear with red names. Throw in the fact that this suggestion is in regards to open instance's where all players can go with out being in a party together, not dungeon's where a party is required and everyones concerns are moot. by making it against the rules to attack in open instances, you are also making it against the rules to attack in any other part of the open world, including but not limited to the arena. My suggestion comes from the fact that the current rule about fighting in dungeons seems to be misunderstood and when applied, is quite hypocritical
  4. dungeon and open instance are 2 different things. 2 people cant be in a dungeon unless they are in a party which when makes pvp unlikely unless a person leaves the group. open instance on the other hand can have anyone in it. As for players being camped, we have an anticamp system that works pretty well. Anyways, my suggestion doesnt go againt the rules. the rules i think are misunderstood and need modification. Further more, my suggestion comes from the same rule being applied on wowge>wowwal>eternion with no adverse effect. I was a GM on wowge (wowge was merged with wowwal then wowwal became part of eternion. Same owner) and i know this rule didnt cause any issues among old or new players aside from the few exceptions as there will always be a few who dont follow rules. As a matter of fact, it helped motivate new members to get better gear and it increases player to player interactions with mass pvp battles between horde and alliance.
  5. It doesnt really ruin the overall gaming experience as pvp in open instances is really determined by faction. example: 2 alliance cant pvp unless it is a duel but alliance and horde can pvp as they were designed to allow pvp. It is an open instance, essentially it is no different then being in any other part of the world and getting attacked. Basically this rule makes it so that if pvp is anywhere besides the arena, you face consequences. It would be hypocritical to have a set of consequences that only apply in a few locations but doing the same thing in a similar environment would have no consequences.
  6. Suggestion Type (Event/General Improvement/Nerf/Buff/Loot/Dungeon etc) :General improvement A short description : PVP rule update regarding pvp in open instances (instances where everyone can be in without being in a party such as FJ). How and Who would that Benefit : Players, GM's, any other staff. Regarding pvp in open instances such as FJ, pvp should be allowed as long as pvp is not engaged while killing a boss/mob. This increases competition among players and reduces load on GM's and Staff. Any screenshots/images if needed : None
  7. Suggestion Type (Event/General Improvement/Nerf/Buff/Loot/Dungeon etc) : General Improvement A short description : Change log in the news section detailing what is going to be modified, what has been modified as well as other detailed information regarding keeping players up to date and in the "Know" How and Who would that Benefit : All players would beneifit as they would know when planned downtime is going to happen as well as future updates, changes, plans, etc. Any screenshots/images if needed :No Screen Shots available.
  8. ^^ nice idea:) Think weapons should have a low drop rate as well.
  9. I think maybe 10 vp per piece would be a bit much as you are looking at several months time just voting then although maybe a lower amount would probably work well. maybe like 4. this way it takes about 8 days just to get the full set to begin upgrading. I also think it should be the initial set that only requires vp and then follows a quest chain where you must upgrade the set to another set and so on for 3-4 version sets. this keeps in line with the heroism, sunset, courage, ek or equivalent set up. This also makes sure new players are voting which helps increase overall votes thus rankings increase and finally increases our exposure causing even more new players to join. As for adding EF, i think thats a great idea. and since it is a pvp realm, there will be competition while farming ef also making it more interesting as before.
  10. Just wondering why eternian is down and what is the eta of being online again?
  11. Suggestion Type ( General Improvement ):- New/more custom quests. A short description :- Armor, weapons, etc are too easy to obtain and lack any type of storyline. Upgrades are too easy as well. How and Who would that Benefit :- It will benefit everyone. It gives everyone something to actually work for and a feeling of contentment. Any screenshots/images if needed :- None available Everything just seems too easy to get now days as far as grinding goes. We used to have to actually farm in order to upgrade gear and complete quests to obtain the initial pieces. Heroism, sunset, courage, etc. Weapons were the same. Kill illidan to get warglaives and upgrade them 15 times before they were maxed. then turn them in for frostmourne and upgrade that 5 times. not just go to a weapon vendor, farm for a day and its maxed. I understand many of us are vip whatever level but some of us still like to farm too. Long story short, we dont actually have much to do aside from camp battle angel after a couple days of playing.
  12. what about weapons and armor? kind of like will of sargarus used to drop. low drop rate and random drops too. not very worth while when everyone has the same gear first try. gives us something to work for.
  13. Last I checked, higher stats usually meant more damage. One of the main reasons for getting a higher vip level is for increased hp, damage and haste. I just think everyone needs to adjust to the new core at this time. its similar to how eternion was when it ran arcemu on 3.3.5 and prior. main difference is now everyone has higher hp, weps have higher dmg and haste cap is higher. this goes for all players and not just vip. All players receive the same boost per stat increase depending on class so its not entirely vip specific or requiring a nerf in my opinion. you might as well be complaining about rogues with high haste being able to turn invisible, stun you and then kill you in a fraction of a second or casters being able to kill you before you reach them. Im vip7 and i cant hit for no 2 mill with judgements and skills in protection. I only hit for 300k or so and dont have full talents which makes me think it may have more to do with full talents and not so much in relation to high stats.
  14. sorry, supposed to be under this account cuz i already had an account here prior to merger...
