[uPDATE 29/02/2012] Launcher now supports 4.3.3 We have re-updated our 4.3.3 launcher to work better on more game installs. It may still have some UI glitches and stuff like that, but nothing to stop you playing the game itself :) To update, just open the Ice Launcher and it will ask you to update. Accept and let it update. FIXING ERROR #134 If you get Error #134 when starting the game, you need to download these two files: http://www.icecold-w...ds/432/WoW.mfil http://www.icecold-w...0C7C086FDF.mfil Put them in your WoW 4.3.3 game folder and re-use the Ice Launcher

Erm, no that won't work.. Downloading it from Blizzard will result in it downloading 4.3.2 directly

The IceCold Launcher has been updated to include a 4.3.2 work-around. HOWEVER... It's quite an unstable fix and you may experience gameplay issues in some areas. If you did not update to 4.3.2 yet, please still do not do it. Because of this workaround's current instability, no support will be given for WoW Errors relating to the 4.3.2 patch. It's quite hit-and-miss and "just doesn't work" for some. ----- Failed to read file DBFilesClient\Startup_Strings.dbc error ----- If you get this, please disable all firewalls on your PC and router, and try the launcher again. Or you can whitelist the launcher and "IceCold.exe" if you know how. If it still happens even after disabling firewalls, there is nothing more we can suggest. Try the forums/other server forums/etc or do your own experiments and report what you find to others.

If you're getting a WoW Error, post it here. If it's just disconnecting you, make sure you have the realmlist set and you're using the Ice Launcher to login (and you're not on 4.3.2)

Server life has wound down because we're working on that new core. We should be done with it and upgraded our servers with it very soon. After this is done, we will be focusing on realm staff and content. These new cores enable us to create and push out new custom items far faster, so the results of that will be very good. With these new items, events, etc.. will be easier to run

Hi, sorry, the realm went down when the VPS crashed. It's all back up now

Muderin a lot of servers :( I checked in on some other ones that were about the same size as us and I see similar counts

Simply put: If you have between 4.0.6 and 4.3.0, you can play private servers but not retail. If you have 4.3.2, you can play retail but no private servers. So either download it and have 2 folders for both, or make your choice: private or retail?

If its 4.3.2 problems, you can easily redownload 4.0.6 through a torrent. We posted one in the newest announcement. It may take a while to download, but as long as you don't open retail launcher on it, you'll be fine :)

I think he means he purchased something from us, and then some issue is preventing him from playing, like updating WoW

Copy "WTF/Config.wtf" from your retail 4.3.2 WoW to the "WTF" folder of the downloaded one

People are trying to just drop the little .torrent file into the WoW folder... You need to install a torrenting program such as BitTorrent. Then open the torrent file in it and it will begin downloading a new WoW. Yes, it's very large and you will have to wait it out. Once it's downloaded, go to the folder where it downloaded to and immediately delete Launcher.exe. The game you downloaded is 4.0.6, let's keep it that way. Now put the Ice launcher into the new game folder and play away from there
