kilodan Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Was getting some server lag, got DC'd.. Now can't log back in, but *Login Server is still up, and I've noticed the Player count fluctuating.. Wtf?
Owners Rocx Posted September 18, 2012 Owners Posted September 18, 2012 At the moment there is a very strict firewall on the gameservers to keep out an ongoing DDoS attack. Unfortunately this can sometimes interfere with normal traffic. If the login gets stuck, either wait a while and try again later, or try from a new IP address.
kilodan Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 Well, unfortunately through Charter my IP Adress is "set"... It's been well over 2 hours now, so I was one of the few screwed with not being able to get back in?
Owners Rocx Posted September 18, 2012 Owners Posted September 18, 2012 It can randomly happen to anyone. The wait time varies a lot and is fairly unpredictable. Some may be able to connect after an hour, some could be waiting up to a day. There is no way of telling. But once it allows you back in, it is very unlikely it would disconnect you like that any more.
