I bought Battlechest + BC + WOTLK + 30 days Time Card for €9.50 at the Go2Arena.com. Everything went well, but i'm thinking, is there any way to start playing retail without creating new character? I already have one at this server.

What is the difference between official and private servers. I know that private servers are free and official must be paid. But is there any other differences?
