i reinstalled the WOW provided by the launcher we have. yet i still get error 134 how can i fix this im at a loss now

this is the chance of a life time for Ice Cold WOW. every other private server that i play is down now. no one on their servers knows whats going on. lets get the hype going and bring people back here. but that also means we the current players need to help out these people and show that our community is as amazing as i know we can be. admins we need to push events. both ingame and a little out, but mostly in game thats what makes the cake. i found a MOP server thats still running but the lag on it is horrible its blizz-like. but i cant stand the lag. but still they have over 2k online at one time i actually had to wait in cue to get online with them. i know our servers can handle more than that. so lets go. this is a community wide effort. not just gms and admins. we all need to do our part to make this server amazing again.

i can sign in to my character list but upon fully loading the area i am DC'ed. how can i fix this?

Note: I will take this early opportunity to let you know that macros run all at once. This means that when you click the button, the macro runs each command from start to finish before returning control to the game. This has two important effects. First, if you write a macro that takes a long time to execute (like /run for i=1, 100000000 do end), the game will freeze for as long as it takes to run the macro. Second, and arguably more important, there is no way to wait in a macro without freezing the game. This fact will become much more apparent when we start dealing with the /cast command and its ilk. Some addons can provide a way to issue a command at a later time, but they can only be used for "benign" functions like chatting, emotes, and issuing commands to other addons (though equipping weapons in combat is allowed). If you don't mind the game freezing, you can use this little workaround to make macros pause: /script debugprofilestart();while debugprofilestop()<wait_time do end; Where wait_time is the time, in milliseconds, you want to wait. OK first off dont even bother thinking about 4.3 on this server for at least another year. we dont even have 4.2 content available, and no lvl cap will not be higher till the next expansion.

we deff. need to script ALL of the raids. we run patch 4.2 but don't have any of the content. i know of servers that are up to date with patch 4.2 completely all their instances are scripted and they have alot of custom quests to complete. when this server started it was up to date but now we are falling behind drastically

hey guys and girls of IceCold-WoW. if you want to be a gm on this server please make a post on this (this will not make you a gm) i will later make a 2nd post for people to vote on who they see most fit to be a gm. i want the players to be happy. i hope this works. and that the admins pay attention to this.

not like content will make much of a diff. our dev team is still trying to get 4.0 right. cata raids are missing most bosses. and 4.2 does not even exist on this server at all. safest bet dont update. and if you do make a second wow folder to play retail seperately.

CORRECTION while we do pay to keep the server running we do not pay blizzard. they would shut all private servers down. we pay a different company for the bandwith we use to host the server. as you would have to pay to host a companies web site. its fairly the same.

Discuss general technology, hardware and software, offer tips and tricks, etc. key word in there SOFTWARE. its perfectly acceptable

i seen ya helping others. but just so ya know. doing this is a GREAT way NOT to get gm. this thread is going to be closed soon. they started doing it to other people who did the same thing.

if ur realmlist is set to that its NOT the problem. and your realm will say dark spear till you actually choose what realm you play on this server. check to make sure that you world of warcraft is up to date (with retail with the exception of patch. 4.3) and double check that the ice cold launcher is in you WoW folder. plz let me know if this helps so i can help you farther if it doesnt.

i would vote YES to a blizz like. you would stay busier but there is a lot that would have to be done in our dev. team to make that work. i feel we don't have the resources available to make it happen. there is alot of coding that needs to be done and we are still having problems on a fun server ( bugged spells quests and scripting ordinary raids and dungeons.
