Hello, The announcement contains a torrent link. You MUST download the entire torrent (Using BitTorrent) into it's own folder, and NOT ever open the retail launcher on the newly downloaded game. Then put the icecold launcher into the new game folder and play from there

The torrent is basically downloading WoW 4.0.6 Cataclysm, which is about 25gb, so yes it may take a long time. It will download the game into it's own folder, and you make sure to not open the retail launcher on the newly downloaded game

STILL don't get it.. Screamer is being used as a temporary 'holding' realm for us to make all this stuff. You wouldnt want us to be doing it on Reaper now, would you? Crashing every 5 mins.. When the work on the new system is stable, it gets coped to Reaper ;)

4.3.2 re-randomized all the opcodes. In other words it set the developers of any 4.3 core back to a few steps. 4.3 cores are a long way off being stable

If you try the server you mentioned in your post, you will find it probably does not work if our one doesn't. 4.3.2 broke most if not all servers for now

It's simple, DO NOT TOUCH 4.3.2! For those that upgraded already and want to get on, you need to download the 4.0.6 game. Click here to download 4.0.6 To open the .torrent file you need uTorrent Blizzard have changed the DBC layouts in the 4.3.2 patch, making them incompatible with all exe versions except 4.3.2. This breaks compatibility with all Cataclysm private servers and connection will be impossible if you upgrade. Just download that into it's own folder, download the IceCold Launcher and put it in the folder, run it as admin and login :)

Means you upgraded to 4.3.2 so you're screwed unless you re-download a 4.0.6 pack. See red message at top of site

Hi! You are free to create multiple accounts from 1 IP. However just note that if one of them gets IP banned for any rule breaking, all other accounts would be banned too

Hey! As you may know, we shut off Screamer for use as a test realm. We currently have a new experimental core and database on it, and are working to "re-construct" Reaper on that new base to be better than ever! The tests look promising so far. Not quite ready for mainstream use, but close already. In our tests so far, no major issues have come up. What's great about the new system is that, well basically, a lot more stuff works :D (like more BGs, Guild Leveling, Dungeon Finder, Arenas, and much more) Scripting is much improved... and look at what the result of all this is... [images taken from Screamer lastest build] Screamer will be open to the public soon as a Beta

Hello, If the launcher downloads and creates it's own wow-update-13624.MPQ file, thats a good thing. Leave the one it creates in there. Check that wow-update-13800.MPQ does NOT exist in the folder. If it does, delete it

As most of you probably saw or heard of, there was a severe staff incident on Reaper. Numerous staff began abusing power at once and the server descended into a short chaos. The administration is working quickly to cleanup any lasting damage. If your account was banned do not worry, it will be resolved soon. The reasons behind this are still unclear, but the major rumor circulating is that a Staff member was being banned because someone an Administrator is in a relationship with asked for it to happen. This sparked off accusations about that Admin being "controlled" by that staff member, etc.. While small incidents of this nature have arisen before (people make mistakes), nothing this big happened before. However, I can assure all players that this was not the full story by far. There was talks due between admins regarding the dismissal of the staff member in question, but other staff were not involved in these talks. It was between server administration only. It was not even decided if they would be dismissed. All staff accounts have been revoked during this investigation, so support times will be severely delayed for a while. We apologize for this incident. A new staff team will be put together shortly. Thank you -IceCold Administration
