i Just came from retail checked my folder and Cache is there, so you tell me whats wrong this happens after installing the patch and freezing after logging in.

I think its because you gotta open IceCold.exe or Wow.exe first then use the launcher

1) is ice-cold launcher in ur WoW folder?

2) if it is, then run the retail launcher to restore the cache. then upon retail log in screen exit. launch ice-cold launcher.

Plz comment on this thread afterwards to let me know if it fixed your problem or not so i can keep track for future players.

Hey, I am fairly new here and I am also having the same problem. I have tried to delete my cache and wtf, after I did, I ran WoW.exe and it opened up fine. I then tried the IceColdLauncher, got the same error message again. Tried this process all over again many times, and I have also tried running IceCold.exe and I get an error when I run it

Hmm maybe try opening IceCold.exe before using the launcher. That's what I did.

IceCold.exe doesn't work at all, I get an error and it crashes when I try to start it up

if the error continues do this

click on Icecold.exe then close it then you open the ICEcold launcher click cataclism then boom it works
