updating wow

I downloaded WoW launcher and the icecold launcher but when i open the icecold launcher it says game not found and the WoW installler is with it.And if i open the WoW installer it updates straight to newest update.How can i get 4.X or 3.X on the WoW to play icecold?

Well first I suggest you make a folder and label it Icecold-wow.

 

Secondly download the launcher and put it in that folder.

Then open the launcher, In the bottom left you'll see something that looks like the refresh button, it'll say redownload patch. Click this.

It installs 4.0.6.

When installing your screen will go black for a few minutes, be patient.

Once in game the game is still downloading so for the first few hours your gameplay will be a bit slow, again, be patient.
